Title: Best Trans For '64 With 12v 1600?

Does anyone know if I can use a 12V bus trans in my '64 without any modifications?

The engine is a 12V so the flywheel doesn't fit in the original one. I ground it out to make it work but now the trans pops out of 2nd so I want to replace it.

What years will fit??

Should fit fine in your Bus.

Thanks for the info.

I found another member with a 6V trans already ground out but the wrong reduction boxes. He says they are interchangable so I guess I'll go that way.
