Due to the fact that I'm moving and my new neighbour is a whiny old pussy, I have to change the muffler on my car to something a little bit quieter. What I have now is a basic header that exits out toward the passenger side with a \"V8 style\" (fat-boy) Magnaflow muffler and a 6 inch long tip exiting out under the rear bumper. I know Magnaflow's aren't the quietest mufflers out there because I had one on my GTI and it sounded like shit. What I would like to do is install a Borla *like this* (http://www.borla.com/products/universal.aspx) (top right of page) becasue from what I've heard they're the \"quietest\" performance muffler out there. I know it will never be totally quiet but my car does make a LOT of noise even with a stock-ish low compression 1600. WIth the 2110 in it I could hardly hear myself think.

Any opinions?

Exactly why I did it.

I know what you mean Chris, but this muffler is LOUD right now. It's had a few too many backfires as well so it is done-for. The guy that I'm renting the place from is paying for it too - forgot to mention that as well.

Usually I don't give a rats-ass when other people whine and complain to me, but I'm moving in to a new neighborhood and figured I wouldn't stir the pot right off the bat - I figured I'd wait a few months for that. B)
