Seems kind of strange, family owned since new. Nows he's parting it.  Some pretty nice parts available though!

He's had valve train/geometry issues for about 3 years and has replaced things several times (I read all about this on the STF over the last 3 years) I don't know Tad but we know the same people - I'd say he is legit.

Just E-mailed about buying the trans. Guess I'm to late. Wife has to go down to Seattle for work at the end of the month so the boy and I might tag along and go check out his parts one day. If it's not all gone by then. If any of you have bought something from the guy I might be able to bring it back for you. Depends if it was something I wanted or not. Just don't buy the tin,alt,fan or straight cuts and we should be OK.  ;)

Hi.  I'm the guy selling all this.  I am ligit.  If it seems kinda strange, try this out for an explaination:  In a nutshell - 5 failures, in 2+ years, in less than 10k miles, almost 10 grand spent.  As my username says, \"I AM DONE.\"  Somebody, please put me out of my misery...

Oh, by the way, the ONLY thing that has been sold is the heads.  No cash has changed hands for anything else.  I have a couple sales pending, (one of those is a sale to brody) but that's it.  All that to say, everything but the heads is still up for grabs.  I've updated the Samba add.  Check it out.

I'm not going to part the car out, like pulling out the seats, or gauges, or anything.  This car is WAY too nice!
This car trophied in every show I entered it in from '95 to '96 or '97 (can't remember when exactly I stopped showing it).  Once it took 1st in class (NWVW Club Puyallup Wintermeet, '95), and two other times it took 2nd (NW Bug In '95 and '96).  And although it would probably not trophy anymore, it is still way nicer than 95% of the street VW's I see out there.  Someone, please buy this car!

As of now I've sold the DRD L6 heads, the Carrillo rods, and the 009 with blue coil.
