...if this is actually a true empi gtv car.
in keith seumes cal-look book, it says that 1966 was the first year that joe vittone started selling beetles with empi gtv add-ons as different package deals. one of the packages was a 1300 beetle with chrome wheels, gtv badge, sport shifter, camber compensater, etc.
allthough this car may be missing some original parts, if this is one of those original empi gtv cars, thats pretty frikkin cool.
