Title: Help! Stranded In Tofino

Hello Everybody,

We are in great need of a fan belt for our 71 bay window with generator. We could use some shims as well but could make do with just a belt. There doesn't seem to be any vw's around and non of the parts places can get anything. If anyone knows anyone down here we would so greatly appreciate it. I'm at an internet cafe right now but have a cell phone. The number is [edit] :D

Thanks for all who called and made suggestions. Just got lucky at a small gas station repair shop in the next town down! They even had 2, and they were the good cogged belts. They did hit us up $50 for two but who cares right :) We've only had the bus one week- great way to start things off. No one ever seems to remember you need at least 8? shims isnt it?  This one came apart because there is only 3 shims. When I checked the oil the nut weas loose! Note to self, always use enough shims!

:lol: Tofino must be a cursed place. Last year Mel's bug busted the throttle cable there and this year a bus..
Note to self stay away from tofino
