Title: Installing My Airspeed Drag Bar

What modifications are required to the shell of my 61 beetle to accomodate the installation of my drag bar? And do you have any pics?

You may(or may not) need to slightly widen the holes in the quarters that allow you to tighten up the rear shock bolts. I will try to find you some pics of my install...

Thanks for the pics James. I remembered seeing this along time ago. FINALLY im going to install mine.

When I installed the AS bar on Rick's car, I enlarged the holes in the body to just a couple of mm larger than the bar.  This was a mistake since the rear of the pan flexed down once the engine was installed.  You need to make the holes fairly large like James did.
