Can anyone tell by the pics, what motor this is?
Comes with a hand crank. My guess is an early 36hp. Trying to get the serial number from the seller.
Looks like a single tip muffler. Possibly a late 25hp?

Looks like 25hp industrial motor? or may be from a bug or bus.
-
It has 25hp tin, dist. and fuel pump, so my guess would be a 25hp engine. Ser# is the only way to know forsure though.
-
It goes with an old Deserter dune buggy project (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6060&item=4535002755&rd=1). It's advertised as a '65, but the motor is definitely older than that.

If he thinks its a 65...then let him think that.
Hopefully you can get it for a steal if you want it. ;)

I'd guess industrial too , tin work under the cylinders but no heater boxes.
-
engine # is -1-0513078
Anyone know the year?
-
I'm thinking late '52, early '53.

A few years ago when I had a summer job @ Air Liquide, there were those such motors, they were used on the rigs to transfer the gases. I remember asking about them, \"Not to be touched!\" :( Tonnes of parts in the workshop...

My 1960 Service Without Guess work doesn't list an industrial engine starting with 1-, but it does list a transporter chassis # starting with a 1- . The industrial engines started with a 122.
