out of curiosity what is the perch? the spring itself? or where it conects into?
if it's the spring i have one you can borrow

Hi Russ. It's the small channel on the decklid that the spring clips into. The pre 56 version is triangular.

i have the decklid off my car if you want to borrow it (for a short amount of time) i'll need it in the next week or so
