Title: What The He$$....?

I get referred first of all to a tire store in PoMo, close to where I live...by a non vw friend.

1. I get 2 14\" Fuchs monted on my tires, I get charged $48.69 which includes mounting/balancing and new air stems.

I then get referred to Tom's Tires by Airspeed, and the following happens :

1. On Monday I show up at Tom's out of the blue, they get to it in 10 minutes, they mount my wheeladapters/change my mags over to tires and balance them (wrong tires--mis communication) find out that all 4 of my Fuchs need to be re-drilled as the splines tapper out on the studs--they don't sit flush on the adapters
2. They then put all the tires back to normal, send me on my way--NO CHARGE

3. I go to Airspeed , Geoff shows me what I have to do, I do it with his tools in his shop.

4. Show up the next day at Tom's Tires. They swap everything over to what I wanted, along with 2-new air stems/mount/balance of 2 Fuchs/tires.

I go to pay.... 25.00.... WTF??

So I guess I know where I will be buying my tires and referring my business to and spending 10 minutes typing out this ADVERTIMENT on behalf of Tom's Tires in Whalley.

Talk about good KARMA/PR and well..... :huh: :wub:

well for starters, these clowns tried to mount the rim onto the tire. isnt it usually the other way around? :lol:

good to hear you got it all sorted, needles.

If you want to talk about good Karma he is the guy... BTW you have free flat repair and free rotations for life now..Any time I go some where and see an old woody car , I pick it up for Tommy. You could not meet a nicer guy anywhere. Always asks how my Mom is doing..Just one terrific guy :wub:

I have been in many times and I have never opened the wallet. He'll say \"Merry Christmas, early, kiddo\" or something similiar. He is amazing. :wub:

Only tire guy I recommend.

I was gonna say that... We went out last year on Mothersday and represented the VW's at Tommy's show. All for Charity 100% There was about 4 or 5 VW's Lets show up this year in bigger numbers and support the Tire Guy!!!
He was also a sponser at the \"WEST COAST SHOWDOWN\"
