I have looked at the bus myself and think for 600 us and what poeple are now spending and selling the older buses it is worth the money.
Just my 2 cents thou!
Cheers.

Judging by the name on the add I know the owner.  He's a straight up guy, known him most of my life.  I recently bought a door off of him for my '59.  For that price I say go for it.  Even if you find a couple surprises you'll still be able to recover your money.

Yup I contacted him and yes it is the same guy.  Both he and I can thank the same guy for getting us hooked on aircooled.  Hope it all works out for you.  Give him a hard time for not posting the add on here first to give the local guys a heads up.  I've mentioned the forum to him a few times but haven't seen him on here yet.

I thought you gave credit to BR for introducing you to crappy cars in general!

BR would be the guy.  Stacey lived about a block away from BR.  Stacey was unstoppable on his old SE Racing bmx.  Don't knock BR.... his old '70 bug was a blast.  Besides the hole in the passenger floor that shot water at you when you went through a puddle it was bullletproof.  Alot of my fondest memories of M. Hat involve him, a VW, and a certain Ed fellow.

Mo, well for what it's worth, your '67 was the first I drove where I felt there might be a danger of falling through the floors!  I miss those innocent days, not knowing any better and not really caring either.  BR still drives a VW albeit a FOX wagon and he's back living in the 'Hat.  He bought a house up on Belfast Street, near the Chocolate Shoppe.  Any chance that DC of yours will make it to the GC this year?  As soon as the Summer schedule comes out I'm going to try to get the time off for it this year.  Later.

Too funny Chad.  The floor on my '67 was the best part on it.  It was stopping that you had to worry about.  The DC won't be making the GC this year.  I'll be happy to have it motorized.  Where are you living now Chad?

I'm up in St. Paul, 2 hours NE of Edmonton... luckily I've only got 3 or so years left here.  I'm pretty much it for the VW scene... and that sucka won't see daylight for another year!
