Does anyone know where I can buy 3 sheets of 1/16\" Aluminum checkerplate??  I tried Metal Supermarket . . . . way to $$$. Any ideas would be appriciated.

try rustan metals
and alaskan copper and brass
rustan seems to be cheapest when ordering in smaller quantities
alaskan usually needs big orders to be cheaper

They don't have checker plate or diamond plate( or what ever they call it) at work .  It would a special order  = $$$$$
Have you tried Ganger's around the the corner? Long shot but who knows

I have some pieces, they'll run you $25 a sq. ft. {Prepaid} I can then go cut them off the deck of my trailer.........

and i'll throw in some smaller pieces for free.  :lol:
