Title: Short Storage In Bellingham Needed
Post by: rolls and pleats on January 26, 2005, 11:49:13 AM
I am looking for somebody in the Bellingham area to let me store a car for a few days. I may be heading south to get a car and I have to leave the paperwork at the border for 72 hours to clear customs before I can bring the car over. All I need is a safe driveway to store the car for 3-4 days. You can only export a car Mon-Fri as well which is the other problem if I go and get the car this weekend. This just saves me two trips(one to look at the car and one to pick it up) If somebody is able to help me please email me at squareweave@shaw.ca

Thnaks in advance,
Richard

hey russ, your avatar & signature has taken on a very tropical/holiday like theme.

are you planning a get-away or just trying to forget about the torrential rain we've had here? B)

no more like a storage in blaine that houses about 50 cars.

you know since we have to clear them before they come in to canada. we import give or take 300 cars a year.

so ya, shut your face, i dont see you offering to help this guy.

I go by shortseurocustom cuz that's what I call my business. If you need to stash a car at the shop, I can help you. I already have one waiting for the border, why not make it two! Give me a call anytime- 360-752-9523 shop  or 360-223-1814 cell...   It'll be outdoor parking, but it's extremely rural and I've had no troubles. If it's only for a couple of days I would like a cup of hot coffee as payment, as long as you don't make a mess of the driveway! Seems that more folks on the Airspeed forums need to know of my services- I own a pro VW resto- body shop and I specialize in rust repair, stock to trick paint and much much more. I have a fully legal and completely professional paint booth and a three bay shop.
Thanks for the input Russ!

Ryan

Damn, making me blush. I worked forever on that Kombi- Not to be vain, it's a 55... Umm, Cameron won on that job, I have decided not to do trade work anymore. Damn job took over six months. I actually got burned-out and let it sit for almost two of those. Told him to bring it to me blasted, but noooo, I had to strip/sand/blast the whole thing myself... All three old paintjobs may I add. Anyway, thanks for the compliments.
Peace

good for you for sticking it out, ryan.

it may have taken you a long time and you may have felt like throwing in the towel, but imho, that kombi is an excellent example of a rolling advertisement for your business. everyone that sees that bus is going to be like \"damn skippy\" and they'll be asking who did the work and your name will be the one thats mentioned.

you cant buy that kind of exposure.
