I wanna turn my spare W-lid into a wall mounted clock for my garage...or something else...any ideas?

it would make one large wall sconce. install a light behind it and let it shine.

Is it in bad shape? If it's in good condition it would be shame to see it ruined by turning it into a clock.  :o You see how much they sell for on the samba? :blink:

Some good ideas there!  Not sold on anything yet. I think I might make some sort of a battle sheild...then I'll have some protection when I toss snowballs at the neighbours kids.....thats if we get any more snow this year!
As for what condition its in...it's actually not that bad.

do you feel like selling it? how is the top hinge bracket on it?

The hinge bracket is in good shape. I removed the inner frame on the bottom and welded in a small piece below the handle. I'm gonna finish it off and put it in some epoxy primer within the next couple months and maybe paint it. Right now i'm thinking about mounting a clock in it or a small radio with speakers...but who knows. Before I paint it i'll let you have a look at it.....if you really need it and can't find one I'd sell it to you or tade you for something!
