i have a really old computer (I think jesus use to own it  :mellow: ) i'm trying to install some usb ports but when i plug them into the white slot and turn my puter on the monitor wont come on any ideas? ive tried all the slots same problem any help would be great

Hi Ryan I had the same kind of problems with a scanner I bought........if you actually do throw it out the window and bounce it off the sidewalk you will find that your stress level will drop considerabley......hope that helps :wacko:

is your video card plugged into a white slot or a brown one?

video card is in a white slot but now the computer wont even boot up into windows it has to be in safe mode so i think i'll just have to get a new one
