Title: Take A Trip Down Memory Lane

I just found this old picture of my 66 (now cale's car) and the engine/pan of my 58 ragtop.  I couldn't even drive the car yet, so my brother drove it.  I got to drive it around for 1 1/2 months :P  :rockon:

What are some memories you remember regarding VW's before or after you could drive?

13 years ago....my first bettle....a 74 standard i bought in Richmond and two days later started the trip to St.John's. The floors and heater channels were bad...along with a bad tie-rod and at one point heading into Toronto I had the car just about up to 100 mph...I just remember how scared I was when the semi-trailer pasted me going the opposite direction and almost blew me off the road! Ah :)  those are the memories you never forget! :(
