Ok let's put it to a vote!
-
Smack talking a vote, who's the scared one??
-
I voted YES - the more competition the better I say. Lots of Alta guys come out to the GCVW and we go down to Wash and race so why not?
-
Wow 2 against huh... didn't expect that.
-
hey whats with this , i peaked yesturday to see the results, now today it says i have already voted ??.
james you decide its your hard work and vission that got it going in the first place.what ever you decide is fine with me
-
Alberta OWNZ JOO!!
:D
It would be good to get more Alberta guys into racing. And if anybody gets bumped all they gotta do is drive out here to Alberta and have a mano-a-mano showdown! :D We come out to GCVWS - at least a couple of you guys have to make it out here!
(that's trash talk from a hippie who drive a Vanagon Westfalia. What? That's right, I said it.)
-
No offense but it seems a little undecisive.
If you wanted it the \"PNW top 10\" Start it that way not change it later. You already are allowing none VW bodied cars in it after changing the rules. But then again I'm just a bastard that likes Consistancy and is buying a bmw.
One day I'll have a Aircooled fox and I guess I can run it...
-
Actually last year the site was The BCTop10 - run from a free server.
This year I have registered the domain ACTop20, which stands for AirCooled Top 20 - geographic locations can be determined by the guidelines which will be in place prior to the season starting.
The reason I have asked for comments and suggestions is to get a broader feedback and a better sence of what would work for the community
I'm the one that is out of pocket for the expenses of the site and the time so if it will benifit a larger group why not?
I don't think it's undecisive, I based the new site on last years guidelines and have now asked for feedback in a restructure and growth. We have already, as a group, changed the allowance of non-vw body cars that are powered by a VW aircooled engine into the ranks. I put it to a vote and it was decided - as this change should be.
-
Okay fair 'nough.
Can't argue with that logic.
-
I think it would be cool to let the WA & AB guys in the top 20. Helps in spreading the word and meeting new people who love to go fast
-
Just remember that we may never race head to head against any of these people, I would look at sponsorship of your site locally and see how that goes before opening it up to a larger group, not to exclude anyone.
-
James it is your site you make the rules....man and whats with that 76 bus guy???
-
............
-
Site cost is the same either way.
-

if you look at the results it assumes you voted, I made the same mistake, oh well, I guess this is not such a democratic place, especially with that fascist pointblank around here!
-
WHat does it assume the vote is?
-
4 it I beleive.
-
WHat does it assume the vote is?
It says
Vote! in one box
the other box says:
View Results(Null Vote)
Null vote would mean your vote is nulled, ie non-existant. At least that's how i precieve it.
-
Good enough, playing field expanded.
-
I think it's a great idea, and really like what James is doing with the site. I have no problems with bringing my car out to the coast to race you guys. In fact that was one of my original intentions when deciding to build this car....race the anvil heads here in Sask., and embarass them, then head out west to have some VW on VW fun. B)
