Title: Why So Karmann?
Post by: slammedbus on December 18, 2004, 07:37:19 AM
Was wondering if there was anything special about a Karmann convertible beetle. My dad had a 76 Karmann beetle convertible when I was a kid and I am trying to find another one for him to fix up for the parents 30th anniversary. Just don't know if Karmann had different stuff??

All Karmanns had something other Beetles didn't have, a top that folded down.

So if I C this correctly now. A KArmann Edition is basically a convertible?? So I guess the Karmann tag I saw on a 76 bus is incorrect??
