figured the engine section needed something to pick it up a bit .screw it now i'm going to have to get serious,88/94 on alchohol,with dual stage nitrous.this is a friends car in toronto.i was down there a while ago and took a few pictures.tried to stuff it in my suitcase but he caught me.i just love the hilborn fuel injection.

Hello Jim,
I don't know if they still do, but that's the same combo the Lauffers used to run in their cars. On the street. Minus the mechanical injection though, they still used IDAs. They were running 94/88 motor with a V8  fogger system, converted to a two stage 4 cylinder system. Good enough for low tens to high nines. Yahoo!

Is that a flex-plate on the engine??

yes it is its hooked up to a 2 speed automatic

Have they run this combo  before?  If so ,  How'd it do?  
Or what are they hoping for?
