I would like to thank you for all the nice comments that you have posted on the airspeed website! I am thankful to God for His safekeeping and to all the VW community for their well wishes. The accident happened on Oct 26th and i am just now getting out and about, after a stay in the hospital as a result of the heart attack that i had while driving, my jaw is still broken and 4 broken teeth to match, i had a heart operation on Nov 26th and it went well, i have to face another 3 operations after the New Year, i have a broken clavicle and a broken sturnum, a few concussions, memory loss etc etc.......  many people have phoned and cared which I have appreciated a lot. A big thank you to Hansk's dad for the VW THING parts he sold me, THE THING WILL CRUISE AGAIN!  I still need a couple of parts if anybody knows of some... a driver's front fender and a front bumper for now would be good.  PLEASE HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS, LOVE YOUR FAMILIES AND THINK OF OTHERS LESS FORTUNATE!    (sorry to ramble on!)  THANKS AGAIN, john
