They're crap or at least they used to be.
Trust me I used to have one.
Not worth cutting a hole in your car for.

The most recent(over here anyway) issue of Volksworld, has a black bug on the front cover, has a how to on this very subject, i forget what make they use, their website might tell you. I would think they would use a decent product although i dont really know....

I'd say find an original insert and put that in your car before putting in an aftermarket one.

What's your car worth now?

IMO, once you install any aftermarket sunroof, you car is worth nothing.

You are way better off getting a factory steel sunroof and welding it in.

i got a streetbeat top, and i don't think i'm gona like it. the cloth and the size of it is nice, but the way it mounts to the car isn't very nice atall. it's a fiberglass system that when installed will be above the roof line. the dam thing cost me a small fortune by the time i got it here. i could have bought a good roof section for less i'm sure. well i plan to use it anyway, cause i have little choice now. becides my bug will be a volksrod when done, so someone elses opinion of value means nothing to me.
