Well folks, I will never look at Beetles the same again :o  Lanny from DVKK was most generous enough to invite me over for a ride in his '67. I've been in some pretty hairy waterpumper VW's but nothing as fun as Lanny's car! I'm definitely inspired to build a big engine like that, all I gotta say is WOW! Really makes me wonder about the turbo'd Beetle Jim Coma owns :D  
Anyway, big thanks to Geoff for the tip about the heads & Lanny, if you're reading this, dude, your car ROCKS!! :rockon:  :rockon:

OK...now I'm curious. What size engine does Lanny have in his '67? I think the last time I saw the engine hood open there was Berg stuff everywhere.

Lanny has a 2275cc with Engle FK10 42x37.5 heads 48 IDA's and ran 12.70 100+mph

yeah some of those dvkk cars are crazy, ive riden in geoffs (except the linkage broke) [_[  so he didnt get to show me what its really like, and i had a bit of a hairy ride out to airspeed in mirko's car. Ive ridden in some fast cars before, but nothing compares to a fast bug. just makes me want to get my motor running....-dan
