Now you just have to SLAM it! Will you be able to lower it with that rubber / wheel combination? Looks a bit tight. Looks good though. Different is the way to go.

needs to be lower in the back, those wheels would look better tucked front and rear, Or you need more meat on those rear tires!

That looks better!! gotta love the ease of lowering a type 3!

Probably go with a higher profile on the back..cause I'm all about the rake baby!

the look like konig imagines..... they are a decent looking wheel, but quality wise not to good.
i would have gone with something different, like a 3 piece german wheel.
but it looks cool if your into that sort of thing
p.s. those are 4x100 correct ???
are adapters expensive or did you make them yourself.
-
but it looks cool if your into that sort of thing
Ya it's cool to shit on someone else's choice when no one asked you, if your into that sort of thing.

Them Wheels are Stylin!!! B) B) B)
Man I think we all need a set of those!!!
-
It's all about those navy blue wheels man!! How's the ride though? a little rough?
-
I think I lost some fillings on the way to Seattle! :D
Now that the rear is up a click it rides way better...just need to get some shorty shocks for the front.
-
Looks awesome with it rear lowered now too. Nice stuff Man :D have much trouble getting them to fit? Whats the width or the rims/tires?
-
The square hog's ride looks sweet. the rims look awesome. That Jacob clown is an idiot. Stay outta here unless you have something decent to say
-
First of all. im not putting anyones car down. i think its great that he decided to save a post 69 t3. and its cool that he decided to do something different and tastfull such as putting newer style wheels on the car.
i respect and apreciate all the work that goes into any classic project car whether it be a split window or a 79 vert.
now im just voicing my opinion on the wheels, which im allowed to do, this is a public forum, and i reread my post a few times and i dont see how im putting that car down. if it seems that way, its not my intention.
and the fact is imagines are BBS ripoffs, wheels made to look like split rims, while they are definetly not. they are japenese which means they use brittle aluminum, that instead of bending like european alu, it breaks and cracks and is difficult and or impossible to fix.
to summerize, i think the car looks great with those wheels, the darker colour sets off the orange very nice, they just wouldnt be my choice of wheel.

wait, i've seen this kind of behaviour before. i think dr. phil classified it as stickingmyfootinmymouthandbeggingtogetmyasskicked-itis.
so, you're 0 for 2 on the day, jakey. what trick are you gonna pull out of your thong next?

Where did my dam shirt go!!!!!!!!!
-
at first I thought it was a photochop but alas it is true! Looking good.. Now how does it handle?
-
The wheels are msr alloys, made by american eagle, the same company that makes the 5 and 8 spokes that we all have on our cars, the wheels are good quality
-
The overall ride/handling is way better than with the stockers. Because I have front slammed so far it is a little bumpy on rough roads but I can live with that
-
I guess kids with ice cream cones would not be a good idea.
