What are some of you guys running for elect. fuel pumps, and regulators? What seems to be the hot setup? Any info on brand, fitting location etc. is helpful.
-
I run a rotary from airspeed 3.5PSI no reg needed. I have it under the gas tank on the passenger side running via 3/8\" S/S Line front to back.
-
Thanks James. Is it fairly quite when running?
-
It is very quiet ;)
-
You can't hear it over the engine, but you can sorta hear it prior to start. I've mounted it using an aluminum stand with rubber grommets between the pan and the stand and again between the pump and the stand. I am pulling my front end out in a week or so, I'll click some pics for you.

fuel pump brand/size is in the end depended on the vehicles use/needs.
as well as the line size required.
what is the main uses of the car ?
just stay away from holley red /blue pumps ,they are noisey and unreliable and don't like continues use in a dead head regulator set-up.

Thanks James & Jim. It will be a street/strip car. Will be driven on the highway/freeway, and around town, and taken to the strip when I feel like stomping V8's B) 2332 with IDA's and opted to run the new 3/8 fuel line.
That would be great if you could provide some pics James,...thanks!

james how were you able to get a tight fir on the pump??
i have a 3/8 line but the pump is like 1/4,i have a leak coming from there just curious if you stepped the line down a bit or just cranked the clamp down on the plastic inlet/outlet?

Yes I used an adapter, cant remember what brand but I think it was an Earls...
