Ok here is a small update from last night, only spent 3 or so hours on it.

Here is a shot of the side, if you look close you can see a wire showing what the roof line may look like. The vert doors have been converted to one pc windows and will use the chrome vert outer channel. The windows are choped 3.5 inches as will be the windsheild.

Next, here the rear section is getting trimmed closer to the final shape :D

So far this area has had a lot of work done after this pic.

Now onto the front 1/4.  Here is the semaphore hole cut and box welded into place.Once finished the car will be blasted  to remove the surface rust.

And last, the semaphore instaled, This took some major time as there is some brackets inside the 1/4 that were in the way.

Damn you work fast Geoff! Heb style 3 window coupe? Will it be convertable? Removable hardtop? Carson Top? When are you coming over to VolksRods.com? (http://www.volksrods.com)


I can't believe you're not using that early vert clip to restore a real early vert. Some purist is twitching in their seat right now! I love it! (sorry Hans  :P )

Yup, Heb rod. Working vert roof (maybe with a rumble seat) Drop axle and a bunch of one off stuff. All I want is people to think I butchered a real heb :blink:

Really I just want a cool car thats a little different. This has been in the planning stages since I built the red car in 1991. Orig it was going to be a stock Heb but what the hell a Hot Rod Heb is better!

Wait till i cut the dash out! I bet you will be able to hear them cry :D
