Now who the hell are you :D
-
Yeah! What he said!
-
Hey Thanks.
Who the hell am I, well, lets see... My name is Csaba (pronounced chubba)
I am a single dad living in N. Delta with some kids that are getting close to driving age...
Most of you guys don't know me, but some do. I used to be involved with the old Thunderbugs club some 15 or so years ago. I have owned an aircooled VW of some form most of my adult life, some faster than others. You will probably see more of me as my kids have taken a real interest in Bugs, and hence, it has rekindled mine. I currently own a 64 Canadian standard beetle, and am compiling engine components in order to start back into the drag racing scene, hopefully by next spring. Currently scoping the land for a good tranny to build up (maybe Cameron would like help build mine too?!?)
I have a mechanical/metallurgical engineering technology background, and have been employed doing nondestructive testing (x-ray, ultrasound, etc.) for the last 25 years.
Who the hell are you guys???

I am some guy who likes to stir the s*&t up with pointblank, probably the main reason I remain on this forum. Happy Birthday! And hope to see you at the track next year!
-
Hey Chubby, I worked at Highland foundry doing NDT for 15 years, MPI and LPI level 2. Who do you work for. INDT, Coast testing? Oh yeah What they said B-Day thing.
Shawn
-
I currently work for INDT. I was with Coast (now CANSPEC) for 20 years. I guess you guys see a lot of Al Elander, huh?
-
I quit the foundry last year, the old body couldnt do any more. Yeah Al used to spend alot of time at highland you ever work with Darren Sharpe his grandfather Sonny was there as well, Great guys. Is Lino Dalagasa still with INDT?
Shawn

Sonny used to be my boss at Coast...I remember Sonny teeling me to look after his grandson. Back in those days we called him Sonny's son's son. ( in fact he was sonny's daughter's son). Lino is doing x-ray work with Cantech - another bunch of ex Coast testers.
