I roughed it out at $2200 canadian so far, although with never sell for that low! Anyone every brought something across by boat? Would be a nice starter.

well, from what i can see it's an og ragtop, but is is very incorrect and alot of expensive peices are missing.
bumpers, front fenders, semis, all the 3 fold ragtop parts, rear tail lights, possibly the rear fenders (i cant quite tell). and that's just my untrained eye and those pics.
it will be interesting to see what it ends at.

allthough i agree to a certain extent, there would be no way in hell i'd roll that with those front turnsignals, rear tail lights and bumpers.
apart from that...
2275? why not a efi 2442 w/ a bottle of nos in the back seat

Yes , my parents brought back an 86 vanagon westy from Germany a few years ago . About $4000cdn to ship it in it's own container . And you must have the vehicle cleaned and/or disinfected first . Shenkner (sp? ) I believe was the company .
