I was digging for someone doing 36 horse align bore work, the closest was Seattle or Spokane

i checked with Concept 1, and got this reply. No we don't do align bores. Truthfully, we do it in house here, but only for engines we rebuild. The bearing quality and dimensions are such that each case has to be done to the exact set of bearings and crankshaft being used. We don't offer this service as it takes much longer than people would assume, and would not be profitable. You should measure your case, check for cracks, corrosion, check lifter bore dimensions, and splay in the center to ensure it is actually a suitable case before considering getting it line bored. About 75% of the cases we see are beyond use for one reason or another.
