i bought my T4 V2 from the company that makes them in the states.  shipping, "brokerage", and the kit adds up $$$. For what you get, it's coin.

Honestly, in our climate, i feel like it's A LOT of cooling for a motor.  if i did it again, i would not buy it again. Instead, i'd use a 36hp on custom tins (upright cooling conversion) with big oil coolers and a CHT gauge.

I run two T4's in my two cars.  similar motors both with external 72 row oil coolers.  on my bus, i still have the stock T4 cooling system - including the T4 cooler.  Both engines are comparable in terms of running temps.

my $0.02

I have been on Jake Raby's site and DTM. expensive yes and + + +. I am also looking at sharp built. thanks for the reply. if you have any pictures pls send. I really want to do one of these projects. I'm curious to know how you built your motors.
