Title: WTB Thing Windshield
Post by: PICTUP on December 30, 2016, 12:54:12 PM
Rust free if possible. An uncommon at the best of times I know, but my Iltis is needing one.

PM me.

Thanks!
Don

All my vehicles have rust free windshields.  Unfortunately none will fit a thing.
That's kinda funny, right?

Kinda  ::) ......Yeah, I guess glass doesn't rust, eh Gord?  Okay, how about Type 181 windshield in a rust free frame? Better?  ;D

So you'd be happy with the windshield in an Oak frame?  Or would you prefer gold leaf?

Yee haw! The Island gets funny when it gets cold.

But seriously, I checked availability for a windshield frame in Germany.
181.847.401
Still available! That's the top half and sides of the frame, not the hingey part.  That one is unavailable.
The top part would work out to about $350 Cdn. + shipping.

Although the Iltis has a different part # on the frame. 183.847.401
The glass is the same though.
