anyone know of a good place to store a big, boat of a car??  for cheap?  most likely for a long period of time??  can you rent bays at like a u-haul storage place? or those orange store it yourself deals??

I believe you can, and some have a parking lot too that you can rent a stall from and park it. (like coq, on united blvd)

I would do that with my truck, but i'd never fix it. heh. Weds is 'play truck' day :D WOOT!

haven't bought it yet, it's all hinging on if i find a place for it.  it's a 100% complete and original '60 pontiac laurentian safari wagon.  hasn't been on the road since '71.  I don't have the time or spare cash right now to start working on it, but the price is definatly right  :)

hey thanks for the offer!!  I still need to take one last realy good look at it with the grubby clothes (aka the airspeed saturday best) and a flashlight to make sure it will one day make a roadworthy lowrider.  i'll keep everyone posted B)

Sounds like you found a killer wagon, if you ever get another vw you can store it in the trunk..

One sweet car B)  actually bought ad at flea market 3 weeks ago . Its a 63 wagon (safari ) white in front of a golf club .It looks slammed and ten feet wide in the photo ( pontiacs wide track suspension campaign) Let me know if you get the car for sure might part with the ad .It came out of a life magazine
