Title: Sold - 1960 Jade Green Canadian Custom (Standard) Beetle
Post by: DalesAlignment on April 15, 2016, 04:52:48 PM: I have an all original Jade Green Standard for sale. Jade Green is a very rare color that was only offered in 1960. If you want an ultra rare car to start a build with this is the one. Still sitting on what I believe to be the original bias ply tires and even the spare matches. The rims are original paint as with the interior paint, the exterior was resprayed but can be removed very easily with Easy Off. I have already removed paint from the LF fender and it was very easy to do. The battery tray and rockers are ultra solid and the front and rear aprons have never been hit.

The only rust on the car is the left rear bumper bracket support and the bottom of the passenger door but cannot be seen unless you look underneath. The door panel was not affected by the moisture. The interior is all original, even the front and rear rubber floor mats have the correct VW part # and are in mint condition. The carpet was replaced with re-pop pieces but I have found NOS.

Parts I have:

-complete brake system(drums, shoes, w/cyl., hardware etc.)
-front headlight assemblies(the original ones need to be restored)
-NOS 4-piece carpet with the correct part # for this car
-NOS LR bumper bracket support

I have not tried to start the car but the previous owner said it ran before he parked it.
