A friend in Nelson, runs in a lot of the CCA events, has put his 1966 Beetle up for sale:

"66 beetle, original paint except rear left fender and engine cover, almost no rust at all, 63,000 original miles, still 6v, original engine, carpets removed, headliner rough, front seats not correctly recovered, all original window rubbers, original spare tire, same owner for 35 years. only driven 20,000 miles in last 35 years, never in winter. had a front end accident over 35 years ago that shows a bit of crumpling inside the trunk and a slight bend to the front right fender that has never been repaired. floors solid, original hubcaps, newish 6volt battery, newer brakes including rubber lines, drives and stops great!! would make a great restoration platform or just enjoy as a usable fun old beetle."
Good guy, very honest. Car is in Nelson.
