Post by: beetlemandan on February 20, 2016, 04:18:50 PM
so does anyone run one on their beetle? does it improve the handling enough that it can be felt?

I do, handling isn't what they were designed for....they to stop frame horn flex and in doing so limit wheel hop when you drop the hammer ie: doing burnouts etc.

Add a Blower from a G60 and some NOS and then you'll need one on your 1641 :-)
And main thing is it looks cool but makes it tight on space back there.

i'm already running a traction bar, so wheel hop isn't an issue. and when i think of bullet-proof reliability, g60's always spring to mind!
