Can anyone tell me how the upper rear cabinets on a 67 split window camper are fastened anyone have any info, measurements of cabinets or pics I'm making my own. But was wonder how they were normally mounted? any tips tricks or picks on how they're done factory? eg like this one in the picture?

You need to make 4 L brackets and screw them into the upper channel area with the L hanging down and then bolt or screw them to the bottom of the cabinet. Page 33 of the Bay Window Bentley manual sort of shows the bracket on the early bay camper. Done right you should be able to mount the brackets and then slide the cabinet rearward into place. I only had to do 2 on my 79 as I had the side closet on the left side. Here is a page from the late bay westfalia repair manual showing the bracket:

Seen this? 66 Campmobile upper cabinet.
