Progress! Some of the colours don't match the box, tricky!

I saw this post and I asked my wife to get me this for Christmas! What I didn't know was that she had already purchased the deluxe 2000 piece version of this puzzle back in November!
It looks like you are making good progress with your puzzle Brian!

2000 piece? The 1000 piece one is enough! Is the puzzle bigger or the pieces smaller?

The pieces are just 1/2 the size! I've put in a lot of hours and i'm still not near being finished! Its consuming me.. :P

Finally finished! I'm not a puzzle guy, but that was not easy. As Brian said, they changed the colours on four buses and they not only changed the colour on another one but they changed the direction the bus was pointing.
I set up a grid to help out as seen in the first picture. It helped a lot even though it was not perfect.
