Title: 181 Thing in So Cal Diego

Hey all, I just picked up a 181 that has been set up as a dual sport On / Off road vehicle. Looks to be a lot of fun with a little bit of work. I need to build a cage for it and a little body work then paint. But for the most part its is very clean. I'm fairly familiar with the the Bugs and Vans and this 181 doesn't seem to be  too different mechanically than all the others. Im just looking to get up to 181 speed.

right on!! welcome to the asf metal twister! that 181 looks like a cool dual purpose vehicle that has a huge potential for fun!! good luck, have fun with the build and keep us updated!!  :cool:

Thanks, I got so excited to find another aircooled forum I just signed up... didn't realize I was so far away. Guess I should of guessed something was wrong when I saw the security question with a misspelled  sky "colour" LOL...  Oh well

lots of people from here head to the SoCal area often, good to have another contact down there to go look at project vehicles for us! ;)
