Title: Going For Outer Paint

paint shop is slow , so they say bring in the car and lets have at it.
car and myself arrive at 7.30 am,will see if they have time to do doors /fenders/etc now or not , but at least its a start,can't wait too get colour on the roof.next pictures should be good.
looks like august may be my month,fingers crossed.

silas i tell you sometimes things just fall into place by luck.today i had to go home at lunch and grab all the fenders and doors and get them too the shop.car should be on it's way home thursday or friday, 3 weekends to go before the car show this will be cutting it close for sure,last year i had the car running at 11.00 pm saturday night and drove it out sunday.so i'm not dead yet.
if it runs you can ride shotgun on sunday.

If you had it done at 11 you were done early, right Matt?

Ugh.....never again. I was up till 3AM the night before, with the help of 4 or 5 \"Strictly german\" members our '65 made it to the show!! It's do-able Jim, I'm rootin' for ya!!

it's great to hear that everything is working out in the paintbooth, jim. if there is absolutely ANYTHING i can do to help you get it back together in time for the gcvws, you let me know.

some late night wrenching would be well worth it to see you hit the street legals on the show weekend.
