Would love to see the whole film. Too bad there are no subtitles. :-/

Seems pretty straightforward to me regardless of the language, everyone speaks car the same way, cool stuff!

Where's Dave?

Where's Dave?

Been wondering that myself. I'll try digging for the actual movie. Word on the street(from my personal translator) is that the men speak very affectionately about the Beetle.

The DVD is basically a history of the Salzburg rally beetles. The video combines historic race footage with interviews from the race team members and some 'faked footage' they made for key scenes. (There's a rollover scene that they re-enacted with an old parts bug they painted to look the part). I've ordered the damned thing three times, once in PAL...once via an english email for an NTSC version and finally in German via a buddy for the NTSC version. To date, haven't been charged or had one arrive.

le sigh.

Bummer. That means near zero chance of it being available online somewhere. That rollover scene is very good btw!

Actually have a German exchange student at the moment, maybe I can get him to order a copy to his house in Berlin for me...
