Title: Who does beam mods?
Post by: dale-j on March 09, 2015, 02:29:05 PM
Anyone know someone local (South Surrey/Langley would be ideal) who could install a set of puma adjusters on my stock center section for me?
Needs to knock loose the center things, cut the slots and weld the plates on.  I don't think my little 110v mig welder's going to cut it on that thick of material and don't really have the time to figure out how to do it right.

Thanks Bruce.  I may end up having to take you up on that but really hoping someone a little closer to home might chime in.

bruce or dirtydeedss (derrick) are both more than capable of taking care of what you need! i have a lot of no trouble miles on the derrick built beam in my car, i just wasn't sure if he was still making/modifying beams.

Totally agree , haven't heard no negative feedback from any of the beams Bruce or Derrick have built , you can't go wrong with either ;)

Thanks guys.  Alp made a great suggestion that I contact Derek but before I heard back Notorious/ Chris jumped in and I got the beam off to him.
Fantastic to realize how many Volks nuts we have in the Langley/South Surrey/Aldergrove area, and some cool projects on the go too.

I'm cleaning up a second beam (seems that the puma's might not be the ideal choice) to try with the SAW style adjusters just in case the first one doesn't hold it's adjustments like I've heard might be the case, but for now hoping that it works out.

Cheers,

Steve
