I suspect those numbers are skewed because of production totals, I agree the Dodge and Ford as well as a few other are more qualified but what if it's just number made vs: number broken? Dodges entire Valiant/Dart production run is likely equal to a month of Escorts worldwide. Another possible factor is the disposable commodity mentality of current cars, nobody wants a 10+ year old car anymore and are willing to throw money or sweat at it to keep it running, reliable for the time period it was on the road maybe?
