Title: *Wanted* Autostick transmission for Type 1 ( Bug )

Hi It doesnt have to be working, just need some bits and pieces from the guts. Any leads on one appreciated.

I have an auto stick from a 1974 you can have. In South Surrey.

Hmm... This has got me wondering "Why does Darren need an autostick trans?"

Cameron I have found a way to swap the guts from a gm 700r4 ( 4 speed automatic ) into a beetle autostick. As I am getting old and lazy I don't like pushing a clutch pedal any more......

Darren and I have been swapping emails.  Neither of us like dealing with clutches anymore so we're both going automatic.  Some of you may have seen my ad from last month:

I'm going full auto and getting rid of that annoying 5 speed.

Used Victoria.com has one for $160 fairly complete...hope that helps.
