A local movie is looking for a beat up rusty bus for a movie, they would like to buy it and smash it up to look like its been in a tornado.
Can be a split or early bay
-
Is your Westy not available?
-
No but yours is and I know where it's kept ;-)
-
my house is the house at the epicenter of the tornado.... they were looking at my stuff in the driveway and garage.
-
I think someone posted a find of a 23 window the other day. It was rusty and beat up.... :85:

I wasn't aware you lived in a trailer park :o
-
yes, a Kerrisdale trailer park...
-
Get them to buy my 72 Westy :)
-
Did SG sell their black chalk one?
-
I thought they did but ill ask
-
Ya it was sold the day after the GCVWS ...Joel has a westy in his yard he could sell for the right price.
-
Ya that it is a true westy, tags and all..that's pretty solid. Just ugly.
Ya the price would have to be right... But I'm listening ;)
-
my bus lost the lead in the movie as they couldn't afford to wreck the bus and couldn't find a bus to wreck that was near the sme

too bad there did not ask about this a lot sooner. There was a crusty rusty roached westy up in coombs that got scrapped (earlier in the year) which would have been perfect. Jerry, you remember that brown rotten westy?
-
they never asked me i know where there is a 67 that could of had cheap to wreck
-
I do remember Chris and I do have a few westys and tin top that could be made available , just let me know :)
-
too late it got too expensive to try and buy a wreck ($4000 they told me lol) so they went to another vehicle

This is a coincidence. I was back home last week and a movie company was looking for 60s-late 70s cars for yet another movie being shot {I'm in High River, "Caitlans Way" and now its' replacement.....forget the name of the new series, lotta movies shot here, Unforgiven, Gene Hackman and Dirty Harry cruisin town then some movie with that "Chandler guy from "friends, got a thumbs up from him seeing the ragtop, too funny }, but I was told they would be paying 400 bucks for its use for the week end. Not gonna let some "precious movie star" mess around in my car for that. Funny, I thought they paid way more but.....
Another movie coming in the spring and apparently that one is big budget and they are talking a lot more for that one as it has some "bigger" cash flow and they are going to need 18 cars for it. Some cruisin flick.
