Had a childhood dream come true today. Had no plans to do anything like this when I woke up today, those are the best days!
A few of us were heading out to Tswassen for the car show, as we got closer I could see a large twin engine bomber coming into Boundary Bay airport.
It came in low right over the highway... I wanted to turn around there but we were meeting the other Club guys at the event.
A few hours pass and a couple of us decide to go find the B25 we saw.
As luck would have it the bomber was parked close to the gate and within a few minutes we were invited onto the runway with the cars and a photoshoot took place. Cool!
Next breakfast TV showed up and we were booked on the 2pm flight!
If your an avation buff and have some spare cash I highly recomend heading to Boundary Bay Airport and booking a flight. (its here for a couple days)
You'r looking at $400 upto $700 but I'm still grinning ear to ear!

It was here in Penticton last week too, it flew pretty low over my house a couple times, which was cool but not as good as being up there I'm sure.

when I get home i'll post the vid my father in law made while he rode in the nose while it was in Penticton.
and just to be a perfection Nazi, b-25s run 18 cylinder engines.

Powerplant: 2 × Wright R-2600-92 Twin Cyclone 14-cylinder air-cooled radial engine, 1,700 hp (1,267 kW) each
I thought it was 18 at first also.

the perfection Nazi now bows before you Geoff. I consulted Wikipedia just now and have realized my sin.

Early models had the 18 cylinder R-1830's, later models like that one used the 14 cylinder R-2600's, you are both right in a way ;) The early ones were crazy loud inside due to short individual stacks on the exhausts, ouch!
Very cool Geoff, one of my bucket list rides I haven't crossed off the list yet!
