Title: Type 4 motor in split bus
Post by: iceneweb on July 21, 2014, 04:41:10 PM
What are the pros and cons of putting a 1.7,1.8 or 2.0 motor in a split bus?

Thanks!

Pros: lots of torque and almost bulletproof in that application.
Cons: your wallet better be up to the task if you want to do it right without hacking the bus: http://type4store.com/conversion-cooling-systems.html

Woah, I didn't realise there was so much work involved. In my naiveity, I figured some different tin would be all that is required.

It was just an idea . . . ;)
