Post by: beetlemandan on July 12, 2014, 07:22:10 AM: so? whos gonna be there? I'm gonna make the big trek up there on the 20th, with my pinstriping gear no less. we can all gather round and smell paint together!

also, does anyone know where the park in question is located in Kelowna?

Post by: beetlemandan on July 20, 2014, 06:53:51 PM: gonna post some pics here later this week, but a pretty good turn out for k-town. for the cruise up we had 2 baywindows, 2 splitwindow busses, and 2 beetles. Al led the cruise from summerland to Kelowna with his beetle, which I think had about 2mm of ground clearance! lots of watercooled, but only about a dozen aircooled, with a few audis, bmws and a lone Porsche. lots of quality cars, and I can't remember seeing so many clean mark 1s in a long time!

Post by: rekka on July 21, 2014, 08:36:11 AM: I only took a few. I think about 50% of the air cooled cars at the show were our crew. Where was everyone? The best part of the day for me was the drive. Parking and polishing just doesn't cut it.
