Title: Car from Calgary to Vancouver

Anybody have any leads on getting a car to Vancouver from Calgary? Car rolls, but doesn't run. No engine.

Joel (Jodasa) used someone from Saskatchewan for his beetle and was pretty happy with the cost?

He went on U ship I believe to get the best rate.

Got a quote or two.. now looking for a connection in Calgary who might be able to meet with seller and make sure everything is ok (ie trade cash for the car hand-off). Anybody have any friends in Calgary who might be able to help out?

Yes, talked with Ken. He helped out with shipping info, but unfortunately his shop is full.

I will be heading home to High River from Ft St John in 10 - 13 days and will be home for 8-10 days. Room in my shop / garage behind my Beetle in High River if it needs to be stored for a while. As a last resort....?  Let me know, no problems and glad to help.  Rob

No worries Trevor. Just let me know. Once I get home, if you still can't get help, and after I get reports to Calgary, I will make myself and shop available if you still need assistance on transaction. If all is done with sale but you still need to store it I'll have my daughter, who lives in the house where my shop / garage is located, make the space available, and allow access. Keep me posted.   My pleasure..... gotta help out fellow "bugnuts"

Yup I used uship.
The bid I accepted was 600$ in an enclosed trailer, from sask - to my door the south surrey.
