Vintage Speed & Collectables Event 3-6pm
This new event is sure to be a hit!We have invited some of western Canada's premier collectors of VW parts and accessories. This will be your chance to find that ultra rare or collectable part before the big show Sunday!
The Vintage speed & Collectables event is very excited to have this years special guest Gary Lang.
Gary is the man behind "LANG", Canada's original VW performance company. Gary built sumps, valve covers, pulleys, covers, breathers and much much more for all the big names (LANG, EMPI, SANDMASTER, SCAT, CLAUDE'S BUGGIES etc.) On display will be many NOS and used original Lang parts including original patterns and art work that have never before been seen in the public.

The Great Canadian Volkswagen Show will welcome approximately 5000 car enthusiasts and their families to the Concord Pacific Expo Site. Air cooled and Water cooled, New and Old, VWs will be on display and ready for judging throughout the park. Families can enjoy taking part in a variety of activities and vendors will be showcasing what’s new and hot on the market.
Western Canada's largest VW event attracts some of the finest Stock and Custom VWs from around the Pacific Northwest, including many past and present Hot VWs Magazine feature cars (18+ cars shot at past GCVW shows). Over 100 awards in 48 Classes. All types of VWs in any condition welcome. Pre-registration is now Open. Dealer Displays, Swap Area, 50/50 Draw, Trivia Contests and more...an entire day of VW fun for the whole family!
The fee for Displaying your VW is $25 CAD. Registration on Sunday morning takes place from 8am to 11am, space cannot be reserved or guaranteed day-of-show. Pre-registration and Show shirt pre-orders is now Open.
Please note: For the safety of all spectators, once vehicles are parked in the show car area they must remain until after the awards ceremony which runs from approx 3:30-4:30pm.
Swap Meet Area spaces are available for every type of VW parts vendor. We offer small private (15' x 15') swap spaces for $40. Swap setup opens at 7am and closes when space is filled (on a first come, first-served basis) and is usually full by 10am. For Dealer Display and New Product Vendor areas, please contact the show administrator to pre-register (no day-of-show registration).

this event will also feature the largest collection of Lang parts ever assembled in one area since the 70's and will include original patterns, molds and artwork...plus Gary Lang (the man behind Canada's original vw performance company) will be on hand to chat!!
this will be another must attend event as part of the 2014 Great Canadian VW Show weekend!!

Your donations make it happen!
This 1981 GMC Superior pumper was donated to FWB Canada by Wainwright Alberta FD. It has been moved to the Beaverly FD in Prince George for the winter, thanks to FWB member and Fire Chief Bruce Perrin. Soon it will be moved to Vancouver and then begin its journey to the Bomberos in La Mision on the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. FWB Member and YOLO Racing partner Ross Burden is directing this project. This will be our first apparatus donation to Mexico.
