Title: Al Ores
Post by: rpmhart on May 27, 2014, 02:08:12 PM
Hello there...just found your site while doing research and have a question I hope someone amongst you can answer.
I just took possession of an FV which was sold in early 1979 to my (late, unfortunately) dear friend Jerry Anderson of Aurora Oregon by Andy Mahood of North Vancouver.  I had always thought it was a Bobsy but is listed on the bill of sale as an Ores.  Which, even with my suspect powers of deduction, suggests it was actually built by Al Ores.  The car hasn't been raced since '84 when Jerry lost his race-budget-providing job and stuck it in his garage (just after sticking in a "new" professionally-built engine with zero track miles on it)...but I'd like to know its history from origin if possible.  Anyone have any information?  Many thanks.  And safe racin'.       PS/re your verification questions on the site.  I have personally been in cities where the sky ISN'T blue and work for the Oregon Zoo, so I can tell you also that some monkeys aren't fond of bananas.  why so many questions?)

Rpmart: No offense, but too little questions and the site gets shut down... we've seen it before! ;)
