haha wont be at a track anytime soon unless i am pittin for someone...man there are alot of little things you need to do to tune a motor when its new.  7.5 quarts of oil in that rig and that aint even full.  Thanks for all the parts/help to Geoff and Jim.  yeah i know that pulley wheel is a little bling thanks to geoff!!  works great though!  i have to tell you, if you ever thought about going to ceramic coating that is amazing stuff..  its cools to the touch in 5-10 minutes after shutdown..although I have a few burns to prove that it doesnt cool any quicker then that.. i'm justt glad i didnt go CB performance on that kit, Cale's issues are enough for me to be thankful, although that will be a bada$$ motor when he gets it tuned right...

Awesome lookin motor man! Good to see another turbo car on the road!
how much boost do you plan on running with that system? it looks somewhat like AJ's kit..and turbo citys.. wich one did you pick up?
As for my problems..yes i have had many..but 95% of them are gone now..mostly a fuel filter problem and some bad timing that made it run like crap before...now im chasing an Oil PSI problem but im thinking that it has to do with the oil PSI sender being tapped in after the turbo feed line and that the thin line sump is Way small..but  i love it none the less..

Again, awesome job..i know first hand how NOT easy it is to do a conversion such as a turbo and to get it running right.

cant wait to get real life look at your setup!

silas, Marc aka Panel, has a turboed panel bus thats purple and white out on the island.  He helped me out with all my questiones etc.  The motor is in my 66 westfalia bus.  It is and AJ Simms turbo kit that I waited for 5 months to be built, Geoff knows as I was always in there bitchin to him!  It is running 2-3 lbs right now.  Definately a different feeling driving a turbo.  You can hear the turbo spool and then its hits + boost and the speedo jumps.  You dont feel a yank back into the seat or anything, probably cuz the boost is so low right now but for a bus, its foolish fast now.  the speedo just jumps and all the sudden you are at 70mph...i guess i should adjust the brakes now...  :)
