Title: Dave hord in "Ultra VW"

Imagine my surprise when I opened the new copy of ultra VW and the first article in it was about Dave and his rally car. Love to see articles about local guys.

whoda thunk it the guy who shows up in a wornout blue stock super would spin a web of car building fun, and bring it to a magazine! shit a super in a mag is a huge thing! congrats dave!

Definitely fun to see that issue come out. Kevin had it right, when I brought the horribly painted blue Super Beetle and displayed it at GCVW 2011, I already knew what the full plan for the car was. Good to see it relatively completed now (race cars are never finished though).
